What is Shan Koe Mee?
Shan Koe Mee is a traditional card game that has been played in Myanmar for generations. "Koe Mee" refers to the scoring method in which card totals are evaluated within a range of nine, expressed in the local dialect.
The game is built on simple arithmetic, so players can pick it up quickly. On the q79game platform, Shan Koe Mee is available 24/7 and Live Chat support in Burmese is always on hand.
Each player is dealt three cards, and the units digit of the total is compared against the Banker's hand to decide the outcome. Because getting a 9 — or as close to it as possible — wins, the game is known as "Koe Mee".
Game Rules
Understanding the basics of Shan Koe Mee will make your experience more enjoyable. Here is a step-by-step breakdown.
Deposit and Start
Create an account at q79game, deposit at least 5,000 Ks via KBZPay, Wave Money, or AYA Pay, then enter the Shan Koe Mee game room.
Place Your Bet
Before the game begins, every player must place a bet. Choose an amount that suits your bankroll.
Deal the Cards
Each player and the Banker are dealt three cards each.
Calculate Your Hand
Add the values of your three cards (A = 1, 2–9 = face value, J/Q/K = 0) and take the units digit of the total. For example — 4 + 7 + 5 = 16, so the hand is worth "6".
Determine the Winner
The player's hand value is compared with the Banker's. A higher value wins; an equal value is a "Draw". Holding a 9 is "Koe Mee" — the highest possible hand.
Special Combinations
Certain combinations such as Three of a Kind (three cards of the same value) and a Royal (J, Q, K) can carry different payout rates compared to a standard win or loss.
